The UP government has made it mandatory for all the people belonging to caste, religion, sect and citizens of the state to get their marriage registration done. Now it has become necessary for all the citizens to get the marriage registration done. By doing online marriage registration, you do not even have to face different types of problems.

Marriage is such a sacred bond. In which two people tied together become life partners and take a pledge to spend their life according to their customs. In every religion, caste, society, sect, marriage is performed according to its different customs. And this type of marriage is recognized by the society. But now the marriage certificate i.e. Marriage Certificate has also become mandatory. In many areas, due to lack of marriage certificate, many types of problems have to be faced.

UP Marriage Registration department provides the marriage registration certificate to the already married couples. Any Husband and wife can apply for Aadhaar based UP marriage certificate. UP Marriage Registration Certificate contains complete details of husband and wife like name, father’s name, mother’s name and date of marriage etc.

Any newly married couple can obtain a marriage certificate. It is mandatory for the groom to be 21 years old and for the bride to be 18 years old.

Required Document for marriage registration:-

1. Husband and Wife’s affidavit.

2. One Passport size photograph of Husband and Wife

3. Identity Proof : A copy of the Voter ID, PAN Card, Aadhar Card etc.

4. Residence Proof : A copy of Aadhar card, Voter ID, Driving License etc.

5. Age Proof: 10^th Marksheet/Certificate, Driving License, Passport, Birth Certificate.

6. Marriage Card/Certificate issued by Religious Institution/Nikah nama etc.

Two witnesses are required for marriage registration.

1. Identity Proof : A copy of the Voter ID, PAN Card, Aadhar Card etc.

2. Residence Proof : A copy of Aadhar card, Voter ID, Driving License etc.

3. Age Proof: 10^th Marksheet/Certificate, Driving License, Passport, Birth Certificate.
